Dotty Bridal

Dotty Bridal is a multi-award winning bridal boutique in Holmfirth, Yorkshire. 

With a wealth of experience in retail and in the bridal industry, the owners of this boutique have fine-tuned a unique customer centric experience for their brides-to-be and amassed a large following of aspiring 'dotty brides'. Taking this a step further, the founding owner was recently invited to be an executive committee member of the RBA (Retail Bridalwear Association) and the boutique is hugely respected within the UK industry. 

We branded the boutique back in 2016 when it was just a year old. Since then much has changed; the business has grown, a new business partner has joined, they have their own gown label and the bridal designers they carry have become more premium. Therefore, a review of their branding was needed. 

Knowing that we could afford to be brave here, we crafted a rebrand that entirely changed their image and connects with their elevated position in the market. Stripping away the previous girly pink and busy graphics, we designed to differentiate and portray their brand values today.

Their brandmark takes a few different forms, with bespoke typography that feels fluid, iconic, perhaps reminiscent of a golden age of Hollywood glamour, yet with modern execution, in premium black and white palette.  

The typographic design then rolls across branded components, allowing messaging to layer gorgeously on photography, in window displays, across stationery design, in social media graphics and on a range of branded retail items in store. With a complete boutique refurb following the rebrand, as part of the project we created a set of themes for the different bridal dressing rooms within the boutique, each with different personality and pastel accents. 

The rebrand has been a great success, adding further to the customer journey and to the boutique's success.
