Dinnewell’s Gin

Product

We were delighted to rebrand Dinnewell’s Gin; producers of premium small batch gin, distilled in West Yorkshire. The gin is carefully distilled by the owners themselves, in a small still affectionately known as ‘Annie’ and behind which is a story of love and family. The newly developed brandmark honours the couple’s daughter Rose and sees a stylised ‘D’, with a premium metallic treatment, which works beautifully on the range of bottle designs.

We see a stained glass theme in illustrative style on Dinnewell’s bottles, accented by rich gold botanical components to depict flavour and give depth to the product for shelf appeal in a retail environment. For reasons very close to the hearts of the family, elements within the illustrations have symbolic meaning, as well as depicting the hand-peeled, hand-dried signature botanicals used in the crafting process.

You may spot a white rose for Yorkshire, a rainbow for the challenges of Autism (for the couple’s son Jack) – weaved in with a careful design eye. Foiled treatments on coloured glass make these bottles a beautiful keepsake long after the gin has been enjoyed. To further showcase this, a photoshoot with art direction by Picture Smiths capture the bottles in their best light, alongside some irresistible serving suggestions.
