Magnetic North

A start-up coffee roasting business, with a mission to make great coffee accessible. The Magnetic North brand tells a story of a roaster that was drawn to the north of England, for its raw beauty and its humble and honest people.

Our branding feels northern, creative, robust – a contrast of industrial design cues and imperfect typographic print couples with subtle contours and ripple graphics of land and coffee respectively. An eclectic and vibrant colour palette helps to categorise the different coffee products in a way that also reflects society and perhaps bring a creative take on the joyful moments of good coffee with friends and strangers.
