Hide & Hoof
Typography with the clefts of a hoof...
Hide & Hoof is the latest addition on Delph House Farm and is a brand new restaurant from Yummy Yorkshire.
Picture Smiths were involved right from the first mention. We had a brainstorming session with the team at Yummy Yorkshire and came back to Picture Smith's HQ to begin the birth of a new brand.
Whilst we were busy concepting...
Our sister company Digital Sauce installed the on-site data collecting WIFI and all data comms including rural internet, sound systems and cctv network.
The brand needed to take a step up from The Parlour as a place to sit down with family and friends and enjoy a hearty meal crafted by a high calibre chef, whilst perfectly complementing what Yummy Yorkshire is all about.
A more 'grown up' feel in this new era for Yummy Yorkshire, now weaves wonderfully with the fabulous new building which consists of Yorkshire stone, oak beams by Paragon Oak and contemporary glass. Our external signage design exudes a confident and engaging brand identity to welcome guests to something pretty special.
We designed a typographic logo with clefts that might feel reminiscent of a cow's hoof and kept the colour palette simple and dramatic.
The combination of the Picture Smiths team, the client and the interior designers has created an end to end brand experience, paying homage to the rustic farming narrative into the finer details across every element.
No matter what the project is, here at Picture Smiths, we always insist on working through our branding process to establish the creative brief with our clients. We'd love nothing more than chatting about your brand over a good cup of tea!
