Getting active on our new KAL account
We are more than delighted to have won the Kirklees Active Leisure (KAL) contract. KAL covers the whole of Kirklees and has 14 leisure facilities providing access to fitness for local communities and includes 9 pools, 12 gyms and 12 studios.
We’re personally big fans of the amazing new leisure centre in Huddersfield town centre, with its fantastic splash pool.
With Huddersfield at our core, winning such prestigious local work has made our year. We can’t wait to get immersed in all things KAL and help our community make the most of the leisure services available.
We hit the ground running with a membership campaign in January for both new customers and to retain existing customers. Our key objective was to raise the awareness and profile of KAL and the facilities available to the membership at a great price. Moving forward we will focus on bringing consistency across the diverse locations and have been busy developing the brand to bring a dynamic brush across all its components. Now to roll out a series of campaigns to bring a fresh feel to all their marketing communications.
Huddersfield is lucky to have an organisation like KAL and the team there work especially hard to make leisure services accessible to all and lots of fun too. We’ve dipped our toe in the water (pun intended) and already get the sense of a great relationship. Watch this space Kirklees!
