Happy World Book Day
In this age of technology sometimes there’s nothing better than curling up with a good book…and wouldn’t “the book corner” at Picture Smiths be a great place?
To celebrate world book day Sainsbury’s have complied a list of the top 50 books every child should read by age 16 (http://bit.ly/1K8696K), with Charlie and the chocolate factory taking the golden ticket!
It’s fuelled our conversation in the office this morning, and we have picked our favourite childhood books:
The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time - Mark Haddon
Five on a Treasure Island - Enid Blyton
To Kill a Mocking bird - Harper Lee
Fantastic Mr Fox - Roald Dahl
How many have you read on the list?
